My PAT Maths Comprehension test.

Here is a snapshot of my Term 4 results for the PAT maths test. I scored 13 points out of 35. I got 2 points more than I did in Term 1. I am OK about my score.

Here is a snapshot of my Term 4 results for the PAT comprehension test. I scored 15 points out of 37. I am pleased with my result. My score in Term 4 was 2 points more than Term 1.

Learning how to read a scientific report.

We are learning how to read and write scientific reports. We have been doing experiments and writing about them. This is a reading activity we did. We had to be able to match a title for a report with a wondering question.

Auckland zoo trip 2017

This week, we went to Auckland zoo on a Zoofari trip. We went on a bus to Auckland. We slept in the old elephant house. We had sleeping bags to sleep in so we didn't get cold.

I am working on an animal report about kangaroos and I saw one. It was bigger than I thought it would be.

After dinner, we went for a walk and after the walk we got to see what all the animals ate. Some of the foods were so weird and some things people could eat like, Marmite on toast but mostly they were foods only for animals like leaves.

My basic facts

 Kia ora I am at stage 5 Early Additive. In Term 1 I got 10 out of 60 but in Term 2 I got 19 out of 60. I have made some good improvements, but I need to keep working on learning my Basic Facts so I can be on Stage 6 by the end of the year.
