Temperature - Term 3

Kia Ora for the last 3 weeks in our class we have been doing temperature. Here is my work.

Kia ora

We have been using Pear Deck to help us learn more about sentence structure so that we can get better at noticing where one sentence ends and another one begins. This should also help us get better scores for punctuation. This a screenshot of an activity we did: first we had to highlight the noun and verb parts of the sentences and then we had to decide where the full stops and capital letters should go.

My Story Of The Taken People

Kia Ora this is a little story that I have been making over the past 7 weeks I hope you enjoy my little story.

The Taken People

500 hundred years ago in a far distance planet there were only 50.19000 people on Planet Sector Z. On June 23 1631 something really bad happened.  People were just disappearing everywhere. As I looked there were just clothes everywhere, people were just disappearing like dust to thin air, one by one. Next morning as I walked out of my house everyone was gone but me, I was as scared as a fish.  After a day I went to bed and when I woke up the next morning I walked outside to see if anyone was back from disappearing

Instead of people like me there were zombies walking around. As I was looking around all of the shops were all messed up. A Zombie spotted me through the window. I ran around  thinking what I should do. I did not have the best idea but it was worth a try, so I quickly grabbed some thick wood, some nails and a hammer then started hammering everywhere the windows were.  I wasn’t fast enough. Zombies were just barging in so I ran as fast as the fastest racing car and they were just barging towards me, crunch crunch I got eaten.

Cybersafety

Kia Ora, we have been learning about cybersafety and being safe online. We had to work out the difference between public and private information. I have created a poster to tell which information is OK to share (public) and which information we shouldn't share (private) online.

Golf

Kia Ora
This week on Thursday we played golf with a man named Paul. It was so much fun and he told us these little sayings for playing golf. Feet together, hands together and tick tock like a clock for hitting the ball. We had to hit the ball at the target. The person with the lowest score wins. I am glad he came.

Commonwealth Games Day

Our School did the Commonwealth Games but sadly I wasn't there.
